META-MUSEUM

PILOTS

Pilots are where the TransforMEANS theory meets the real world. Starting from our initial assumptions, we test and refine TM’s principles across three live research settings: museums, hospitals, and hybrid public spaces; turning early hypotheses into a final, evidence-based framework for how Cultural Heritage can foster empathy, inclusion, and wellbeing.

Pilot 1

experiments in
museums

Our experimental activities are hosted by three associated partners across two distinct research sessions: the Museo Egizio in Turin (Italy), the Archaeology Museum of Catalonia in Barcelona (Spain), and MuseoParc Alésia (France).

Pilot 2

experiments in
hospitals

This pilot will conduct neurophysiological data collection on patients undergoing medical treatment at a University Hospital in Rome.

Pilot 3

experiments in
hybrid environments

This pilot will be conducted both in-person and online in a public space. Open to all citizens, it will allow everyone to discover how emotional reactions are measured in real time during cultural experiences!
