ROB MARK

    Rob Mark Is an external expert to the META-MUSEUM project and a member of the advisory board. He has a long-standing interest in cultural heritage and lifelong learning and has worked in higher education; community education and the voluntary and schools sector. He is currently coordinator for the PASCAL Learning Cities Network, an interactive policy-orientated group of stakeholders within cities, sharing ideas and experiences and innovative responses to big issues confronting cities.

    His research interests focus on the broad field of lifelong learning including access to higher education, learning in later life, community learning, literacy and social justice, religion & spirituality and environmental education.He currently holds Honorary positions at the University of Glasgow, Scotland, Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering & Technology, Kalady, India and  as International Fellow at the Centre for Neighbourhood Studies, Manila, Philippines..

    The META-MUSEUM project is seeking to promote a new understanding of culture and cultural heritage through the development of resources and training programmes that will transform citizens’ identities and cultural experiences in a democratic and engaging manner.
