User-friendly, easy to use – and yet maximum impact!

Over the past weeks, we in WP4 have been laying some important groundwork on the key aspects of our working package: identifying suitable scenarios and experiences for different museum contexts, possible settings and of course the technical requirements for the development of WP4s prototypes.

With the help of our colleagues from WP2 and WP6 we conducted an internal workshop to ensure we are ready to aim at something that is adaptable for a variety of research needs, content, evaluation and digitally enhances museum experience in an user-friendly and low-threshold way.

What We Have Been Working On:

    • Exploring Possible Tools and Settings for our Prototype: We have been gathering possibilities to create intuitive and easily accessible experiences and tools – both for museum visitors and educational or research staff.
    • Defining a Framework: A structured framework with technical requirements is currently in progress to ensure a smooth development process and integration of the chosen tools and experiences.
    • Design Scope for Museum Experiences: A design scope is shaped that ensures tools and project goals are aligned with the intended visitor experiences and functionalities of our tools and experiences to enhance empathy, resilience and confidence.
    • WP4 Workshop Insights: Our conducted workshop was able to collect valuable input, helping us identify suitable scenarios to enhance museum experiences while aligning with the research questions and goals of the other WPs.

    Upcoming Steps:

    • Supporting Our Developers and designers: We are excited to share that the first prototypes are now under development. Those are providing cotent designers with all the necessary input and resources and they are needing to shape, enroll and validate visitor experiences to enhance empathy, resilience and confidence.
    • Defining Design Scenarios for D4.1: Furthermore, we are focusing on the design brief as part of our deliverable. We are continuing to outline concrete design scenarios that will guide the development of the full museum experiences with prototypes and tools in place.

At last but not least we would like to thank all our colleagues to much for their contributions and dedication to help us organising and conducting our workshop.
